Animal Welfare Support

Woodrock Animal Rescue

Conserv Earth facilitates monthly donations to Woodrock, and we have an amazing relationship. The team are always willing to assist in any emergency, and as such we really value their approach to animal welfare. The most recent project was a sterilisation campaign that we assisted with in funding – it was a great success!!!

Dogtown Animal Rescue

Conserv Earth has been assisting Dogtown over the past year with providing grass for their gardens and enclosures. They have also dug a borehole and this will help massively for their water supply and reducing costs. Tracy McQuarrie owner and manager, sent us this note:

“Conserv Earth has significantly impacted Dogtown’s efforts to care for and rescue abandoned animals. The support towards helping us put in a borehole not only contributes to financial savings for Dogtown but also ensures a more sustainable and reliable water source. Conserv Earth has had a huge impact on our abandoned dogs’ daily lives by helping us grass the dogs’ areas. These grassed areas enhance their well-being and provides a comfortable and enjoyable environment for them to play. On these scorching days, the grassed areas are substantially cooler for our dogs and help them keep cool. We see it in the gardens that don’t have grass yet; the heat from the floor has a massive impact on our dogs, and because our rescue is nestled in a considerably rocky mountainside, grassing the gardens gives our dogs a much more comfortable area to rest. Watching our dogs roll around in their lush gardens is a sight I will never tire of. With 130 gardens across the centre, our grass project is an ongoing one, and we are incredibly grateful that Conserv Earth is our biggest supporter of this project.”

4Paws Animal rescue

With our monthly donations and extra project donations, we have maxed to make a tangible difference. Jen, the manager at 4Paws give the following update:

We have successfully managed to build 3 new kennels this year to help us provide a safe haven for more animals. In our outreach work we have vaccinated hundreds of animals and provided essential vet care to those who need it. We have successfully sterilised and released countless feral cat colonies to help manage the feral cat population.
