Animal Welfare updates

Dogtown SA

Conserv Earth and Dogtown have a great relationship and we love their ethos and what they are doing. We have assisted over the past few years with laying grass in all their dog enclosures, and will continue to do so until they are all complete. This will continue in January 2025, and we will keep you updated.  They have also managed to install a borehole, and here we have donated funds to make this a reality. Overall, a win for the team and the animals at the shelter!

Woodrock

Woodrock is run by an amazing team – Stella and Nicholas. They are the two wonderful souls that drive this awesome animal welfare setup. They are one of our monthly beneficiaries, and every now and then we help on special projects where required. This past year we did a big sterilisation project with them, and they managed to sterilise 67 animals. We also assisted with a large donation to help build their boundary wall which will keep the shelter safe from veld fires and keep it secure. We will continue to support this amazing centre and team.

Place a Pup

Place A Pup endeavours to find a home for each and every one of their  pups that come into their care. Until they find a forever home, they have large enclosures to be free and social, and they have a wonderful ethos to their organisation. Conserv Earth assisted Place a Pup with a sterilisation drive through the Society for Animals in Distress.  The total animals treated and sterilised was 66, a wonderful result!
