Our Annual Golf day for 2024 at Kyalami was a great success! Thank you to all involved who made it such a fantastic event, and we really do appreciate all your support. A lot of fun was had, and it’s always great to spend time with donors and just have a blast!
The event itself was awesome for fundraising, and we calculate that we raised an additional R550 000 to Project Pangolin. All of this will be allocated to scaling the project, which will be based on the below:
- Fund for maintaining the completed SSNR fence.
- Research and rehabilitation project of pangolins within the SSNR.
- Pangolin co-ordinators’ salary.
- The erection of the buffer fence around Sabie Game Reserve.
There is still a long road ahead for these enigmatic and precious creatures, and we thank all the teams on the ground for their passion, tireless work ethic and constant “never say die” attitude. The SSNR team have been a pleasure to work with, and long may this relationship continue to grow. Thank you to Chamberlain and the team for co-hosting the day and all your support. A huge heartfelt thank you to all of you! Without our donors, sponsors and supporters, we could not do the critical work that is our purpose. We endeavour to make sure all the funds are spent wisely and correctly, and that are focused on Project Pangolin.
