Conserv Earth fully equipped the uMkhuze Environmental Camp within the uMkhuze section of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This enabled the camp to officially be opened on the 12 July.
Since then, Simon Nxumalo who heads up the camp has successfully hosted numerous camps for students who live in the rural areas surrounding the park. Four of these camps were sponsored by Conserv Earth, with a total of 98 students attending. This allows them to experience the wonders of the KZN Bushveld and to understand the value of managing the area as a conservation space.
