Simon Khumalo and Eduard Goosen continue to be the quiet heroes of uMkhuze Game Reserve. A magical untouched wilderness that remains under the radar from tourists (and unfortunately government funding), they somehow manage to maintain their passion and commitment to running the reserve and the Environmental Camp. We salute these two gentlemen, and we thank them for their service!!!
We have had numerous camps run this year, and we are super happy that the students around the reserve continue to have access to this centre of learning. It is vital for conservation that these communities see what conservation is about, and Simon manages to do this with ease. This year, they had 156 students go through the camp, all leaving with a great appreciation for what the area and reserve is about.
Thank you Simon and Eduard for passion and commitment and commitment to the cause.
